In the heart of the Quercy region, 1H20 north of Toulouse, Fabien Jouves created in 2006 the Mas del Périé on the highest slopes of Cahors. Coming from an old peasant family of the Causse, he took over his parents' business and became the 5th generation of winegrowers.

Here Malbec is the king grape variety of the domain. Passionate about the terroir, Fabien advocates bio-dynamic agriculture, respectful of life, the plant, Man and his environment. The domain is certified organic since 2009, DEMETER (Biodynamic) in 2011.

It's at the bottom of the eponymous vineyard of the Mas del Périé domain, 500m from the cellar, that you can stay in a Tiny House overlooking the valley. Enjoy a rejuvenating stay for an immersion in the heart of the land of the Quercy plateaus.

An eco-friendly Tiny House

This Tiny House was lovingly designed in a workshop in the south of France. The cladding is made of French Douglas fir wood, from sustainably managed forests in the Massif Central - PEFC label. The insulation is made of recycled cotton fibre from recycled clothes. The kitchen is made in France by Cuisines Morel since 1932.

It took two months to bring the tiny house to life! Equipped with solar panels and water collectors, it is 100% autonomous.

The dry toilets, made in France, are without sawdust. Created by an engineer from Marseille, these innovative dry toilets save 15,000 litres of water per year and per person.

A cosy house of 18 square metres lined with windows to let you admire the breathtaking view of nature.

What does the rental of the Tiny House include?
The Tiny House has a Queen-size bed (160x200) with duvet and pillows, a kitchen with fridge, hob and sink and a bathroom with shower and dry toilet. The Tiny House is equipped with fans and windows to let in the gentle breeze on summer evenings, but also a stove to warm up winter evenings. Please remember to bring mosquito repellent if you are sensitive. In case of an emergency, we've got your back with a first aid kit.

There are several ways to get to Mas del Périé. By car from Bordeaux, about 2h30 and from Toulouse, about 1h20. By train, from Bordeaux or Toulouse station: take a cab to Cahors station (13min by car).
