On the borders of the Gironde and the Dordogne is the incredible Château Couronneau. Here, only 30 minutes from Bergerac, Grégoire, heir to the Piat family, produces biodynamic wines in the Bordeaux region on a 35-hectare plot.

Passionate about French terroir and nature lovers, the Piat family made the choice in 1994 to change their lives to save this exceptional 15th century heritage that was in ruins. Forerunners, they brought the sublime estate back to life and began a transition to organic farming in 1997 and switched to biodynamic farming in 2007. From now on, the domain is a real place of life where Elisabeth, a long time friend of the family, has settled down to receive curious visitors in order to make them discover this small paradise.

It is in this magnificent vineyard in the middle of nature that you will be able to stay near the lake, close to the sheep, horses and numerous birds. Enjoy a rejuvenating stay for an immersion in the terroir of the Southwest.‍

An eco-friendly Tiny House

This Tiny House was lovingly designed in a workshop in the south of France. The cladding is made of French Douglas fir wood, from sustainably managed forests in the Massif Central - PEFC label. The insulation is made of recycled cotton fibre from recycled clothes. The kitchen is made in France by Cuisines Morel since 1932.

It took two months to bring the tiny house to life! Equipped with solar panels and water collectors, it is 100% autonomous.

The dry toilets, made in France, are without sawdust. Created by an engineer from Marseille, these innovative dry toilets save 15,000 litres of water per year and per person.

A cosy house of 18 square metres lined with windows to let you admire the breathtaking view of nature.

What does the rental of the Tiny House include?
The Tiny House has a Queen-size bed (160x200) with duvet and pillows, a kitchen with fridge, hob and sink and a bathroom with shower and dry toilet. The Tiny House is equipped with fans and windows to let in the gentle breeze on summer evenings, but also a stove to warm up winter evenings. Please remember to bring mosquito repellent if you are sensitive. In case of an emergency, we've got your back with a first aid kit.
